Yes, Substack is part of the problem, but if they’re insistent on having a “free space,” then we’re free to make it our own. Two can play at that game, and I have no intention on losing.

Personally, recently I’ve had some follows from some very sketchy men. I just blocked them. But I’ve been aware for a few weeks that something felt different. Some people I follow have already left and I’ve been looking at a platform called Ghost. It’s pretty interesting. I’m hoping we don’t have to move but I for one will go if you guys choose to.
I can absolutely attest to the truth of all of this post! I have a little tale of when I first started here.
One of my first days here, there was a guy who messaged me and as I am a no name profile under a nom de plume, I thought it was very odd. They proceeded to ask very personal questions and inquire about my physical address. I of course blocked them and I mentioned it in passing to Bradley and a couple of others. Bradley wanted all the info and he absolutely wanted to do something about it. I didn't think to keep the name or publication. It luckily was a singular experience and have not encountered any more issues here on substack. Thank you Bradley, I still very much remember your reaction and your actionality to harassment! You are a delightful soul, keep being amazingly you!

how can we block and delet them?
It’s an option either when you get a follow/subcriber notification or if you look up who is following/subscribing to you there is a block option
