Perfect ending to wrap this all up. Loved this, the inevitable SCI FI ELEMENTS! You could feel the characters cool demeanor from the jump, a man set to save the world without a second thought. Just because he had to. Badass! And an excellent way to tie it in with the religious element of part two. Amazingly well done. Especially with the description of the actual abomination. Something like a cosmic squid is what I saw.
Powerful story. Not just horror, but hope within it. Love and care for others pervades these three, deep and meaningful. Well written. I think I will remember this.
Thank you so much, Rose! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I always like to say that my horror is tempered with hope, so I’m glad you felt that with this series!
This is absolutely gripping, Bradley. The way you weave existential horror with raw human emotion is masterful. Nathan’s journey—from a self-destructive nobody to the man who saves the world—feels both inevitable and tragic. The description of the eye in the sky, the creatures breaking through reality, and the sheer weight of the unknown pressing against him were cinematic. And that epilogue? Chilling and poetic, a reminder of how curiosity and hubris walk a fine line. This deserves a wider audience. Bravo.
Haha, well Nathan sacrificed himself to disrupt the storm. That’s why we heard about the storm dissipating after 24 hours in the epilogue and in Part one.
So, the world made it out okay, but as the epilogue mentioned, about a million people were killed. Were it not for Nathan’s sacrifice though, it would have been a lot more.
Chronologically the story goes part 3 -> part 1 -> part 2, but all three parts are set within the same 24-hour period. 😁
Thank you, Mina! The comment on the accent really means a lot, because I actually watched YouTube videos from vocal coaches on how to do an authentic Irish accent, haha.
I always want the the narration to feel authentic, so I put in a lot of work to make sure they sound good. So happy you enjoyed the series as well! The connection with the clouds is really interesting too, I didn’t think of that!
It made me think that they were going on around the same time, so that was really interesting to put together in my head; even if they aren't connected lol.
That's amazing that you learned that from a video! You did AMAZING!
Thank you! Yeah, if we're talking chronologically, Part 3 happened first (before the storm passed over the Atlantic), and then Part 1 happened next as the Western Hemisphere braced for the storm. Finally, part two was when it reached the East Coast of the U.S.
Oooooh, haha, sorry, I totally missed that. It has been a week. Well, never say never. After all, I'm no stranger to parallel and connected universes, haha.
OOhhh this was NAILED, SEALED, AND SHUT!! From the pacing to the weight of Nathan’s choices, the cosmic horror....Chef’s Kiss!! 👏👏👏👏👏 I also love how the epilogue frames everything. The monument’s inscription....chilling yet poetic! It isn’t the cliché victory. It’s survival with a cost!! As always, your narration adds volume to the weight of it all, making your pieces feel more immersive and more lived in.
Haha, yes! It was hard to think of a good way to wrap up such an ambitious story, but I knew there had to be something that happened to stop the storm destroying the world.
So, knowing that an unsung hero was the one to sacrifice himself for the good of humanity, I felt like I had the perfect way to keep the cosmic horror intact while adding a dash of hope, as is my style.
Your sci-fi horror never fails to pique my interest! I’ve always been more into sci-fi through film, but the way you write it... blending horror and that eerie sense of the unknown really pulls me in. So to love your sci-fi horror? That’s real!👏👏👏🫶
I am going to save this comment for sure, haha. Thank you so much, that’s incredible feedback! I really try to take a unique approach to the way I blend genres, with sci-fi and horror absolutely being one of my favorite combos.
Thank you as always for the amazing support and even better feedback. I appreciate you! 🫶

Cosmic squid is a great comparison! I’m glad you caught some of the themes that came together here from parts one and two as well!
Phenomenal analysis and feedback as always. Thank you so much for checking it out!

Wow, thank you so much for this incredible review, Anton! I really appreciate your analysis of the story's themes as well. This comment made my day!
Ahhhhhhhh what happens to Nathan? the world? -sobs-

sneaky sneaky. I read it 1, 2, 3 and I thought you left me on a cliff hanger and I was about to whine lol
Haha, well in this case it's fairly tied up, but I'm also known for my cliffhangers, so you were right to be suspicious. 😂
very suspicious :P Love your work Bradley
I love this story!!
Your accent was on point, and this was a perfect ending to a story that made everyone see a different side to themselves.
As always the images laid on the canvas of this story were painted perfectly!
Also the imagery of the storm made me think about the clouds that filled the sky in your last three part story!

Yeah! I just meant stalemate and this series being connected haha
I know they aren't, but the storm clouds connected them in my head 😅
Oooooh, haha, sorry, I totally missed that. It has been a week. Well, never say never. After all, I'm no stranger to parallel and connected universes, haha.
That's true 😅
Either way I loved it!
Wow! This is a compelling short story. You stuffed a universe into just a few paragraphs. Perfect!
Thanks for checking it out, Bruce, really appreciate the kind words!
