Thank you, Shae! I'm going to be posting more poetry here soon. If you enjoyed this piece, I think you'll like my other ones as well. I stick to a similar style with my poems in terms of flow and rhyme structure. I like it when the poem feels like song lyrics, if that makes sense.
huzzah multitalented king! this is so stunning, friend! while the stories i've been posting here dont really show it, poetry is my first love. thank you for allowing us a window into your vulnerability here, for trusting us with that. thank you for sharing!
This is some of the kindest feedback I've ever received on a poem. Thank you so much, Isabella! I've been inspired by you and others on here who are incredibly open and vulnerable. This place continues to be amazing.
First time I'm seeing one of your poems. Excellent job! Despite working mainly on fantasy right now, poetry has always been my love and a form of self love. Thanks for sharing.
I'd love to read more when you post. I subscribed earlier today on a sub spree for myself and saw this tonight. If you want to connect with my substack too, feel free. Just got started posting today.
Honestly it's about time on the voice-over, and I don't think you could've picked a better poem to start doing those with. This was beautiful. The solemn voice complements the tone of the piece. Just great overall. I loved the rhyming and how it flowed as you spoke.

This is hot off the thumbs (press). Written at 9:13 while listening to Humble Pie’s debut album on Spotify. Then I saw this post at 9:17 am. Here is my reply:
A profound piece that those with severe mental health issues can surely relate to. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you, V! It's one of my most personal poems, but it's one of my favorites for the message that it imparts.
Ahhh what a beautiful poem! You should write more like this❤️❤️

Really takes you on a journey. Awesome job! Love it!

No more free room and board for the demons. Evict those bums from your head!

Thank you, Zechariah! I've got a decent backlog of poems I'd like to publish here, but this is a general idea of my style. So glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you, Mina! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, I plan to do more poems in the near future, but this is a great example of my personal style.

Worlds apart
Part the worlds
When worlds collide
And new ones begin
Can’t tell just where
The old ones end
The past is not the past
It’s not even dead
I carry it around
In a dna strand
In my head
Remodel/remake
Spit into a cup
Sour milk taste
Knock off
Into a cup
Fill the gap
And bring back
The wooly mammoth
Woolie Bullie
And Sabre tooth, too
Heat wave cooled by the ice age
Walk the Bering bridge with you
