Yes! Yes! YES! Thatβs one way to get it done! I really enjoyed this piece. I laughed. Went, βoh my gawd!β Multiple times π Iβm always impressed by your work! πππ
I don't think anyone is going to see that coming haha. This character is one I created year ago. He's a cannibal for hire. Hopefully you liked it, despite the dark humor!
This was CRAZY omg im obsessed. my parents came and asked me if i was alright cuz i was laughing so hard. the fingerlings joke really got me. i need more unhinged Bradley in my life lmao
Haha, Iβm glad you liked it! Havenβt done dark humor in a while, and yes, the fingerling potatoes joke had me in stitches when I thought of it. π€£
Horror comedy, indeed! With just the right amount of reality -- I remember when my dad would hunt rabbit, the gunpowder taste was a thing he'd fuss about. Well done (you see what I did there)!
Interesting! I kind of assumed it would ruin the taste haha, but Iβm glad itβs rooted in reality regarding animals and hunting. Thanks for reading!
For me, this whole story hinges on the sophisticated insight that gunpowder in bullet wounds ruins the taste of a cannibal's gastronomy. If I was a teacher marking it, I'd give you an A just for that bit alone.
Of course, haha, but I appreciate you noticing that detail! Someone else in the comments said their father hunted rabbits and complained about gunpowder in the meat, so it seems like itβs somewhat realistic.

Haha, thank you! I realize it's an insane premise, but I was dying when I wrote "it's locally sourced!" πππ
So funny!!! π i like insane π€
Oh what. I didnβt expect the eating people part

I love it!! I am just going whoaaaa. But I love it!! Very well done!!
Really enjoyed this one!!
Iβm glad Stephanie! More flash fiction like this coming all through February!

Haha, Iβm glad you didnβt have to explain the story to them! More unhinged Bradley, coming right up! πββοΈ
LOOOLL I enjoyed this one a lot. Totally right up my alley
Haha, Iβm glad you enjoyed my dark sense of humor in this one. π
Haha I love a dark sense of humour
Thanks for sharing this
The wine is spiked. Isn't it?
Haha, oh, I did not even think of that! Yes, 100%, that is now canon.
That's what I call fine dining.
I love this π
It's really lighthearted for a cannibal piece π
The fingerling potatos made me cackle

I appreciate you calling this out, Rowan! I wouldnβt know, of course, but I figured that would impart some sort of flavor, haha.
I'm not calling it out in the sense of whether it's realistic, it's just a funny idea that punctuates the lunacy of it all in an interesting way.

In either case, I appreciate the support!
The pedantic nature of it, contrasted with the insane violence, is a little reminiscent of Patrick Bateman in American Psycho.
Let's see Paul Allen's flash fiction.
Impressive. Very nice. π
This was excellent! Fingerling potato's π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£
I'm so proud of that joke, haha! That, and the locally sourced dialogue were my favorites. π€£π€£
