So glad you’re enjoying it so far! This series is part of my larger horror mythos (I have a whole section of my content directory dedicated to stories set in this universe), so this one connects to a lot of my other horror stories as well. 😁
Wow, thank you so much, Max! This is an incredible review of the first chapter, and I’m so happy that those elements and details resonated with you!
Chapter Two is out now (and there’s a few hours left to cast your vote), so I’d love to know what you think as the series progresses! I also published a spin-off poem inspired by the town today.
Thank you! This story is set in my wider horror mythos, so it's always fun to show off the abilities and tools that Wardens like Agent Philips have at their disposal. Working on Chapter two as we speak!
How am I just seeing this? Oh I know I was distracted with Mayhem LOL. This is so good Bradley OMG. So, good.
Haha, all good, but I’m so glad you’re catching up and enjoying it so far! The whole series ended up being like 15K words haha.
I'm sucked into this story! Gonna catch up on the next chapters. Loving it so far.

Nice! I look forward to exploring more
This rips. the sadness here is the kind that pretends it’s fog, but you know damn well it’s heavier than that.
You built something that feels inevitable — like the ocean was always gonna come claim this place and everyone just finally gave up fighting.
loved the details too: the tentacle anchor keychain, the fake badge trick, the sheriff squinting and seeing what he wanted.
Feels like the start of a nightmare you almost want to walk into.
Killer work. Let’s see where it goes!

This is so cool! I love that we get to chose the direction, and I was INSTANTLY sucked into the story!
You've done an amazing job! I can't wait for the rest!
