Another fantastic episode! You continue to stoke the wonderfully surreal atmosphere I've been living in these past few months. Hearing you talk about me was a genuine "are they really talking about me?" moment.
I'm so relieved Finton enjoyed my portrayal of him. It's wise to stay on his good side, as I hear he has "exacting standards" for authors! Haha!
Just got a chance to listen in. Bradley, thank you for airing my work, and I love that you zeroed in on that bit of dialogue -- when I originally wrote that, was actually over a decade ago and what's seen today was a complete retooling of a blatant data dump in the original manuscript. Necessary world building is necessary after all. :)
What I feel has come of it now especially in that movement is two people: one, weary, the other blindsided, scarred, humbled, wondering why he's still alive, and completely and obviously out of his league (he ended up crashing a warship onto a planet!).
Yes, there are real consequences. But yes, they're people, and connections happen. I love it. :)
You're very welcome! I love that behind the scenes look at the thought process there. The balance of exposition, worldbuilding, and dialogue is always something I'm trying to get just right, so I certainly understand that struggle.
I think where you landed was perfect, though. The dialogue includes shades of the character's personality, which elevates it for me. I love how you're taking the serialized approach with your publication as well.
Love the voices! Amazing D'Veen stories, amazingggg! You are superhuman my friend all your Internet problems and still a podcast! Your dedication is admirable! Love the writing rituals and voidys new voice haha! Keep up the amazing work! We are here for it!

Haha, will do! He’s a big Solara fan. 😁🧚♂️
😯 my name was mentioned in a podcast! 🤩 I wasn't expecting that.
I really love what your doing here. I'm so glad you've put so much effort to lift others up.
Yes! I remember mentioning your work on the show. 😁
I appreciate the feedback and support as always. I want to see everyone succeed. A rising tide raises all ships, as they say. ⛴️
