I love all the supporting evidence files! As someone who loves world-building, I really appreciate the level of depth and realism these bring to the narrative (and the work that goes into making them). Great job! And I don't think that siren is at odds at all. I think it knows exactly what it is doing!
So much detail! The newspaper article, the sound files and the reports really bring this chilling story to life. Amazing story. Incredible presentation.
Thank you! I've always wanted to incorporate more visual elements to add to the immersion. I've been leveling up my Canva skills to create images like the ones you saw in this one.
I still need to check out your cryptid piece as well! I'll do that today for sure.
Thank you! I initially tried the concept with an older story of mine on here called Chaos Theory and people really liked it, so I’ve used the in-universe newspaper article a few times since.
Thank you, Jacob! I’m really happy folks are enjoying this format.
This story is set in my Synaptic Sprawl mythos. If you check the pinned post on my publication (the Content Directory), you’ll find an entire section dedicated to stories set in this horror multiverse. 😁
I love how you structured this as multi document/sound files. It flows wonderfully with the story & draws the reader in. I actually found myself leaning in & buying into the storyline.....nice work!

Thank you, L.G! I’m really happy to see people are enjoying this format. I’ve been experimenting with it from time to time the last few months.
And your observation is astute as always! 😁

So fun, I love your cryptid. I did A similar format for my story, I didn't have all the cool multimedia elements though.

I like it … definitely makes me want to come back for more.
This was SO COOL. I loved the mixed media you included—in such a short piece you had me hooked! I would love to read more about these agents!

The “mixed media” delivery of this story was genius, and it kept this ADHDer’s attention!
Thank you so much, Stephanie! I’ve been experimenting with this structure, so I’m really glad to hear you enjoyed it!

Thanks Maryellen! I’ve been experimenting with this style the last few months here and there and I feel like I’ve got a good structure going.
The fact that you found it so immersive is amazing! That’s exactly what I was going for. 😁
Good work, illustrations that provide various symbols of activity are an important combination in this writing. I like it
Oh my goodness! This honestly makes me never want to go to the east coast 😂
Not only have you built an amazing world here, with the newspaper article and sound clips it feels real!
